William James Theo W. was a beautiful, happy little baby. Everyone who knew him loved him dearly. One Thursday afternoon, when William was just 6 months old, his mother and he were strolling down the sidewalk in town, They were at the crosswalk when an elderly man swerved to miss a young girl (who had gotten her license that day) when she cut him off. His car jumped the curb and hit William and Lindsay (William's mother). Both were hospitalized. Tragically, as a result of the accident, William passed away. I received an email from a friend of Williams' mother, about 1 week after the tragedy occured. Her name was Christy. She told me about what had happened to poor William, and she begged me to draw a sketch for Lindsay, to remember him by. It meant a lot to her to make sure her friend knew that she would be there for her no matter what. I was touched by the story, and couldn't refuse.
